Cookie notice · Consent Mode v2

No ad cookie is set until you press Allow.

The a&bé bridal shop site uses one small storage key of its own and, only with your permission, the measurement cookies of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads. The rail down the side carries every date and clock that matters, from the day this took effect to the ten days we allow ourselves to answer a question about it.

Effective and last amended

In force from September 30, 2026

This cookie notice took effect on September 30, 2026, which is also the date of its last amendment. It covers aandbebridalshop.us and nothing else. The wider picture of what the inquiry form and chat keep is in the privacy notice; this page is only about what sits in your browser.

Three categories

Three kinds, one of them always on

Strictly necessary

Needed for the site to do what you asked. Your consent choice itself, stored under site_consent_v2, so the banner does not ask again on every page. The chat token, so a conversation about a veil survives you closing the tab. These cannot be switched off, and they never leave your browser to anyone but us.

Analytics

Counting visits and which pages people read, controlled by the analytics_storage signal. Off until you allow it. We read totals. A shop our size has no use for your individual path through the collection.

Advertising

The tags of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads. They tell us whether someone who clicked an ad for a bridal appointment in Austin went on to send an inquiry. Off until you allow it.

gclid · msclkid · fbclid

Ads send people here, and the link says which ad

We buy ads now, on three platforms. Someone searches "wedding dresses austin tx" or "bridal suit austin", sees us, clicks. The platform adds a random string to the end of the address:

  • Google Ads adds gclid.
  • Microsoft Advertising, which serves ads on Bing, adds msclkid.
  • Meta Ads, on Facebook and Instagram, adds fbclid when we run a campaign there.

The string arrives whether or not you have chosen anything, because it is part of the link you clicked. What matters is whether a tag reads it and saves it to a cookie. That happens only after Allow. Decline, and the identifier sits in your address bar unused until you leave.

We have not been reviewed or approved by any of these platforms. We are an advertiser on them, the same as any shop.

Then asked again

Giving, changing or taking back your choice

The banner at the bottom of the screen on your first visit has two buttons, Decline and Allow, equal in size. It does not cover the page. You can read the whole collection and book a bridal appointment without touching it; until you do, nothing optional loads.

To change your mind: scroll to the footer of any page and press Cookie settings. The banner returns and whatever you press next replaces the old choice at once. You can also clear this site's storage in your browser settings, which deletes site_consent_v2 and brings the banner back on your next page.

We store the choice for 6 months, then ask again. Choices do not follow you between devices; your phone and your laptop each ask separately.

On Decline

What still works if you say no

Everything you came for. The collection, every spec table and price basis, the booking form, the chat, the phone number and the address all work exactly the same. We do not hide the form behind consent and we do not nag.

What stops: Google, Microsoft and Meta tags write no cookies and receive no ad data from this site. We lose the ability to tell which ad brought you. That is a cost to us, not to you, and we accept it. Google may still get a cookieless signal that a page loaded, carrying no identifier.

Outside our control

The platforms' own documents

Once a platform receives data under your Allow, its own policy governs what it does next. Read them at the source:

Each lets you turn off ad personalization from your account settings as well, which applies on every site, not just ours.
